With huge thanks to all who helped us along the way, we call an official close to our Solarize Wappingers/Dutchess County campaign!

Thank you to those who came to our community events at the Town Hall, Grinnell Library, First Presbyterian and New Hackensack Reformed Churches, the Vassar Barns, Spins Bowl, and Ketcham and Arlington High Schools. To Wappingers Climate Action, RUPCO, Mayor Matt Alexander, Supervisor Lori Jiava and County Legislator Francena Amparo.

Thank you to those who met our installation partners–Solar Liberty, Hudson Solar and Sunrise Solar Solutions–and got their questions answered. Who learned that, alas, solar doesn’t work for their home or building.

And of course, thank you to all those who discovered that solar really would help them save money, time and the planet…

The enrollment deadline for Residential and Commercial projects was:

Thursday, Jan. 15th.

The contract deadline for Residential projects is:
Tuesday, Jan. 31

The contract deadline for Commercial projects is:
Tuesday, Feb. 28

Who are we?

Solarize Hudson Valley is a three-year program funded by NYSERDA to make going solar easier and more affordable for residents and businesses in the Hudson Valley.

Our purpose is to provide reliable, up-to-date information on the process of going solar and answer any questions you may have.

We are in the planning stage for new community campaigns in Ulster, Orange, and Putnam Counties. These Solarize programs will launch in Spring 2017 and run into the summer.
